ChartMaster — Privacy Policy

ChartMaster ("the app", "we") is an educational game that teaches technical-analysis and trading concepts through simulated charts. It is not a broker, does not handle real money, and does not provide investment advice. This policy explains what data the app processes.

1. Data stored only on your device

Your game progress, stars, chosen trading mode, audio and theme settings, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier are stored locally on your device (browser localStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you opt in to the leaderboard (section 2).

2. Leaderboard (optional / opt-in)

If you choose to join the leaderboard, the app sends the following to our server (Cloudflare):

• A random anonymous identifier (not linked to your name, email, or device identifiers);
• A display name you choose (please do not enter real personal data);
• Your approximate country, derived from your IP address by our network provider (we do not store your IP address or precise location);
• Your game score, stars, and number of completed levels.

This is used solely to display competitive rankings. If you do not join the leaderboard, none of this is transmitted.

3. Anonymous analytics (planned)

To understand whether players enjoy the game, the app sends anonymous, aggregated usage events (an install-level random id, the level reached, and a timestamp). These contain no personal information — no name and no location — and are used only to improve the app. Analytics is on by default; you can turn it off anytime in Settings → Anonymous analytics.

4. Advertising (planned)

A future version may show ads via Google AdMob. Ad SDKs may access a device advertising identifier. Where required (e.g., Apple App Tracking Transparency, EEA/UK consent), you will be asked to consent first, and you may choose non-personalized ads. 5. Purchases

Any in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details.

6. Children

The app is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Data sharing & retention

We do not sell your data. Leaderboard data is stored on Cloudflare on our behalf and kept only as long as needed to operate the leaderboard. You may request deletion of your leaderboard record (your anonymous id) at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise them, or to delete your leaderboard record, contact id7oomyboy@gmail.com.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change accordingly.
